- Verify that garment is free of dust and debris.
- Press garment for 3 to 5 seconds, this step helps remove wrinkles and any potential moisture trapped in the fabric.
- Cotton: Press 315 degrees for 12-15 seconds medium pressure (50 psi) with image in proper placement and glue facing down.
- Peel the transfer immediately.
- Press one more time with a Teflon sheet (for shiny look) or parchment paper (for matte look), 300-310 degrees for 8-12 sec, medium pressure (50 psi).
- Polyester/Blend Fabric: Lower the temperature 280-300 degrees and press for 10 seconds, as these fabrics absorb heat at much faster rate. You can press multiple times if the transfer is not adhering to the fabric.
- 100% Polyester: Lower the temperature to 270-285 degrees & shorten press time to 5-8 seconds, this fabric can take some tweaking with your press to determine the best time, temp and pressure. We suggest practicing to determine the proper settings. You can press multiple times if the transfer is not adhering to the fabric, just allow the fabric time to cool in between.
